25th February – Students return to school
Year 11 Valentines Roses fundraising
Students from year 8 to 11 celebrated valentines yesterday by sending 88 roses to each other. Proceeds raised support the end of year prom for Year 11s. I would like to thank Bluebells the florist, in Downham Market, for supporting the event for the second year running. It brings a wonderful feel to the Academy with the excitement of flowers being delivered to students in lesson and mystery of who the sending actually was.
Parents/Carers SEND provision survey
Norfolk County Council and partners are working to improve support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities across the County and are looking for parent insight in to the Norfolk Local Offer. Please complete the survey available here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HPT3VH3 to give your views and ideas; it should take no more than 10 minutes.
All responses will be anonymous, so please complete the surveys as openly and honestly as possible
Year 11 Leavers Hoodies
Back by popular demand, the Year 11 Leavers Hoodies shop has reopened. Many students who had missed the deadline or wanted another colour have approached me to request the option of buying these. The company has re-opened the online shop, link below, for you to order until Friday 8th March:
